I added the Leica M system in April 2018. A particularly well-preserved Summilux-M 50mm ASPH was available at Houston Camera Exchange, a Leica dealer in Texas. I tried it on several pre-owned Leica cameras, and decided to buy the lens. I then crunched some numbers, and decided that I could buy a new Leica M10 camera, upon which to use the lens, if I scuttled plans to add a significant Nikkor super-tele lens for our bird photography. I was recovering from a left shoulder injury, anyway, so it would be quite a while before I would be using a big tele lens hand-held.
So, with that background, I just took delivery of a pre-owned Special Edition 50-Jahre 50mm Summicron-M, bought through evil-bay from Calagaz Photo, completing a trio of 50mm Leica 50mm M lenses; Summilux ASPH, Elmar-M, and Summicron. This 50-Jahre Summicron commemorates the 50-year anniversary of the first 50mm Summicron, and has the optical formula of what Leica shooters would consider the IV, or fourth-generation 50mm ‘Cron, but with the external appearance reminiscent of the “Rigid” ‘Crons, a much more elegant lens, in my opinion.
I have yet to add that super-tele Nikon-mount lens. My shoulder is healed, but the rest of me is not getting any younger, and the same is true of my wife. We have decided that slower, more-modest tele lenses, plus Tele-Coverters, weighing less than tele lenses such as 500mm f/4 and 600mm f/4, suffice for our nature, wildlife, and bird photography. It helps that we have “his and hers” D850 cameras, so can better magnify/crop, than when we were using 12MP and 16MP DSLRs, not so long ago.
I am still doing my part to keep this forum alive.

Am I the only one?
