fuji 55-200mm

first shots with the 55-200mm this morning during the tropical storm. the lens feels solid, the camera still feels balanced when the lens is on. the zoom is easy to rotate, but doesn't feel loose or slide out on it's own.

Really nice pictures! I found the bokeh in other sample images of this lens rather "nervous". Perhaps those images were taken with a preproduction model of the lens. What is your experience so far?

thanks. i haven't had much time to play with this yet due to work, i'm a dispatcher and we've been cleaning up from a major special event, a tornado and a tropical storm for the past week.

general thoughts on the bokeh is that is seems pretty smooth in most situations. the IS performs well, and iq seems to be on par with the fuji 18-55mm. i want to play with it some more in high contrast situations, most of the odd looking bokeh i've seen in sample images seem to be in high contrast situations.
