Olympus e-system AF f1.4 - f1.8

Hi all first time here so hello from Ninjaprints as well!

I have been shooting with olympus e-system for years now and own a few bodies and lenses between 14 and 600mm but have been struggling for the last year to find a low light lens with auto focus, and to be quite honest its beginning to do my head in.

At the moment I am making do with a OM prime f1.8 lens with adapter and much as I love the lens the lack of auto focus is killing me, with such a fine line between in and out of focus I really need a lens that will help me out a little with this side of things.

I have been looking for around 2 years now for something suitable and each and every time I think I have found a lens it throws me into the world of Nikon and seems that the lens I have been looking at is not available for olympus, now I know that Nikon 4/3 will fit on olympus but from my understanding they will not work with the camera in terms of aparature and auto focus, could someone please give me a kick in the right direction?

I am thinking of making the leap over to canon simply to have access to lenses of this range to be honest, or possibly Nikon d800 which I think is 4/3 fit and will take my lenses?

How about the Panasonic Leica D Summilux 25mm F1.4?

Also, Nikon does not use the 4/3 system, and I'm not aware of any adapters that would allow you to use 4/3 lenses on either a Nikon or Canon.

The Pany 25mm f1.4 is micro 4/3 which is fine if the OP has an m4/3 body. But if s/he has a (standard) 4.3 body, I would second the 14-35mm and/or add the 35-100mm f2 and/or 150mm f2 and/or 50mm f2 depending on what focal length is desired.

I was referring to the one in this link. It's definitely 4/3 mount, and I can confirm this as I own one.

However, you're right that they're all rather pricey.

Whoops! Sorry, my bad. I mistook your post as referring to the micro 4/3 version. I should have noticed the "D" with no "G" in your model description.
