I happened to be in Hartlepool (UK) today and found this lying alongside at the marina. It is RNLI lifeboat
"The Princess Royal" and was Hartlepool's lifeboat from 1938 to 1968, saving 94 lives in that time. Further info here:

here is two photos i took two weeks ago of Skandi Vega, an anchor handler coming to us for winch repair.
this is one of the better designed ships i know of, it does look powerful. this ship has a bollard pull of 361tons
the strongest ship in the world is also the same design with a bollard pull of 397tons

A contrast to Gekko's big beast above. Sail training ship anchored off Douglas, Isle of Man. Or, as my 5-y-o granddaughter thinks, a pirate ship.
