100% Crop. Google earth measures from where I was standing at the Brunswick Heads river mouth to Cape Byron Lighthouse at 13 km (8 miles). There was smoke around the air from a nearby sugar mill.

f8, 1/1600s @ 200mm, ISO 200 & -0.7 EV on a Nikon D7000

Nikon D7000, Nikkor 80 - 400G, Nikkor 18- 200 VR II, f3.5-5.6.
