hi KSK, I think I've got some somewhere - it was the first time I did panning, and it's not all that easy!
Because you still want the sharp subject but without a sharp background I went for 1/30 on the shutter in shutter priority and AI servo mode.
It's a pig getting the bikes sharp, but a great learning experience as I discovered that following the bike through the viewfinder, making sure I used a manual AF point selection of "1" point - the point which I tracked the bike with, then it makes life a little easier. I took just under 600 images on the day and scrapped about 450!
My panning shots were mostly with the kit lens so I won't put them up here.
This is a chance attempt at panning with the Tamron - it was never going to blur much at 1/500!
