Hi saloncuts welcome to the forum. That's a very nice picture you got there for this month's assignment. I hope to see more photos from you.

saloncuts, congrats on your first post. I would recommend using auto and P mode for anyone new to photography, this will able you to see what exif the camera used in different situations/lighting and is part of the learning curve.

Thanks to everyone who posted an entry this month, I really appreciate your efforts.

Now, about the prize, the McNally book. I won't be sending it out, not yet anyway. I had hoped for 20 entries and believe getting that number of submissions is still possible with a large community such as Camera Labs. The prize still stands for April, and probably May after that if we don't make it this month. Do you want the book? Then grab your camera and shoot a picture for April's theme "Juxtaposition".
