Oh man, I've got to choose from like 750 shots I took this month and post-process it before the deadline! Oh my, I'm going to have a hard time

Took this one 18 months ago in Sri Lanka, one of a series .... trying to capture the elusive 'green flash' as the sun dips below the horizon ... but without success. Going back this winter so will try again.

Nice one Maxjj, I can't see the hinterland because of the trees here so I have never seen the sun go down here. Went to Yamba for a few days but the weather was not good for this assignment, only 1 day left

thanks 4xxxx, I am glad I got that shot while I was up there and the sun goes down pretty quick compared to here. There is a shot I have got in mind, just need the right conditions for it and be on days off.

This is the last day to get that beautiful sunset shot submitted for our monthly "on assignment". Thank you to each one who submitted an entry. Because I don't want anyone to jump on the bandwagon I am not revealing which shot is my favorite, because my opinion doesn't matter any more than your opinion. There is not one submission that does not warrant being in this thread. Great work photographers.

No nice sunrise or sunset this month... there were just two evenings the sun was shining but they just weren't good enough for any entry here.

I couldn't get my best shots for this month's assignment, I seriously hate the fact that my SD card decided to stop working yet again
Well at least I could get something somewhat decent, I guess

Stormy spring here in NZ... Not so great for sunsets and sunrise... Got some B&W shots but not worthy winners..
