I love your site and the way you present your reviews - pictures, rather than charts - but I wish you would stop using the word 'bereft' when an expected feature is missing from a gizmo. Bereft is the past of bereaved. You should only use it when something has been there but is now lost: a widow is bereft of a husband, a spinster is not.
Try 'devoid'.

I can't speak on Gordon's behalf, but I guess with him testing/using so many different cameras, he `misses` certain features if he knows they are available on another model.

But yes, you are correct Pete. 8)

Gordon isn't bereft/devoid of a sense of humour, so I'm sure he'll take your comment on board. :wink:
