Well, usually, when shooting the vast majority of my images, I am wearing a police uniform shirt, Royal blue with Navy blue epaulets and pocket flaps, and Navy blue uniform pants, Danner Acadia boots, and a utility belt rig mostly consisting of Safariland products.

On my own time, my clothing is unremarkable. Trousers with cargo pockets are sensible when shooting, and if the weather is hot, most of my equipment is worn at belt level. Sometimes, I will wear a many-pocketed "Guide" vest, of the Royal Robbins brand.

I would really like to see one of those Manfrotto photo vests, but I think it would mostly be useful for me only during cooler weather, as it seems it would need to be fully-zipped in order for the pockets to support much weight.

Come to think about it, I really don't have any photography clothing, just my plain clothes from everyday, a shirt, a pair of jeans and a pair of tennis shoes, not a single piece of clothing specific for photography. Maybe a photography vest someday, but I find most of them not really nice looking, although pretty handy I think.

my next clothing purchase for photography for the spring will be a camo wetsuit... kinda excited bout that as then I will remain warm and dry after hours instead of cold with skin like a prune after 30 minutes.

This is my typical summer outfit (I don't own nor do I want any shorts or t-shirts). Notice I like to coordinate my leather. Shoes, belt, bag, camera strap, all the same.

In winter, it's pretty similar I suppose, except I would add a sports jacket, overcoat, and scarf. Gloves if necessary.

Dang I live in shorts t-shirts and sweats... have all of my life... jeans if needed.., dress pants or a short sleeve casual shirt only for exec or corporate meetings and even then only if absolutely neccessary... dress shoes never... only sneekers, hiking boots or Teva sandals... socks only in the winter and only in the summer on long hikes or expeditions... only white socks.. never black... I once threatened to quit a job when they told me I needed to wear black socks... Im gonna die wearing black socks so wont ever wear them no matter what

yup Im quirky and everyone I know knows it... my friends accept it for who I am and know I wont change no matter what.

I gather you don`t own a tie :D

My work gear is safety boots and overalls, think Homer Simpson sitting in Control room making electricity or out in the plant. So no formal clothes for me.

T shirt and shorts most of the year and some sort of sandal/crocks, when colder add jeans, socks boots and Jacket.
I do wear boots when walking in bush even in summer, too scared of running into snakes.

Weather has been an absolute nightmare. Popped out for an hour or so on Christmas Eve in between downpours to the local wood. Ground was absolutely saturated (and the wood is on a hill!), skies dull grey, everything dripping wet :(
Oh for some blue skies and frosts.............

I shot evidentiary photos in the rain, the night of New Year's Eve. Thankfully, a 7D is decently weather-sealed, as is the 100mm 2.8L Macro and 580EX II flashgun. I think water droplets on the outer element made auto-focusing a bit more frustrating, or perhaps it was because my cold, wet subjects were shivering, and AI Servo would have therefore been better than Single Shot. I got the sharp images I needed, but it took longer than desirable.

Potentially not as mad it might sound. Comfortable and roomy for ease of movement. Lack of pockets an issue (can't carry too much gear in a sporran!). Windy days and kneeling/crawling around on the ground potentially embarrassing
Think I'll stick to troosers for now :D

Lovely way to see in the New Year. My Pentax k-30 body is weather sealed, pitty I haven't got a lens to suit.
