Yup, you're getting there.

Sublimity has covered some good advice.

My thoughts are these:

1) On the home page, your welcoming text is too small and difficult to read. I'm reffering to...

Welcome to this site, which contains a collection of images I have taken. My photography ... etc

I'd make this text white and a pt larger in size. It's hard to read against a black background, and even with glasses on I had to move real close to the screen to read it.

2) The Navigation at the top is great, but the 'Gallery' button should take you to the main gallery page if you click on it before navigating to the items in the drop down menu.

I assume you're thinking of adding other sections, which is where I see the drop menu come in use but for someone who doesn't know how to navigate sites efficiently (or are click-happy) may click before the drop menu appears.

One small thing I noticed now: Don't color the used links blue (in the Gallery index that is) - just leave them the same color as before if you clicked them.

Things have progressed from when I last posted, the website has changed to a business site for my portrait photography. Please critique

Very impressive! Heres what i would do to improve: crop the top 1/5 of the background image off (lovely image if i might add) so we have a more modern/manageable ratio to work with. On my 15" laptop the "HOME PRODUCTS. . . " buttons go right over the the eyeball. I'm guessing this would look better on a 24" screen but not everyone has that luxury. you need to make your site flexible so that it looks great on all screens. I would stick with a fixed size for the background image.

Also I think you need a new logo. Right now it looks like it was a water mark. the C looks like a copyright symbol (©) and the font tracking isn't great, and I'm just not a fan of all capped fonts that use smaller caps for the not capitol letters. If your gonna use all caps just use all caps get rid of those small caps. if that makes any sense.

I think your on the right track though, keep us posted.
