Greetings Cards

Postby Canon 500D » Thu Nov 25, 2010 10:17 am

Certain companies such as Photobox supply custom greetings cards. I do not know what they will look like until they arrive, so I don't know what the quality will be like.

I would imagen that as you are supplying the image(s), the outcome won't be as good as that of a professional card that you can purchase from the local card shop.

Does anyone have any experience of these? Have you bought or seen any before?

I think the idea though is that the picture is of your family rather than being the best quality card on the market.

My concern was value for money. If I could produce the same, with a deskjet and piece of card, then perhaps they are not worth considering.

My personal experiences with photobox is that they are very cheap, I use them all the time. Im sure you'll get better quality at a lower price than you would be able to do it ink wise but have never ordered cards off them so cant say for sure.
