Here is a very deep 3-framer of the Bellatrix region in Orion.
Bellatrix itself is a 2-framer taken with the Sky 90 and M26C OSC CCD.
And the galaxies region (on the RHS of the frame) is a single frame Hyperstar III image.
All 3 frames were stitched using Registar and when I'd finished processing the composite I saw the very red star at the top, and knew immediately that I had unwittingly bagged another Carbon star.
This one is V1368 Orionis - a particularly red Carbon star with a B-V index over 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Carbon star V1368 Orionis
