First clear night in a month!

Postby cybermystic » Mon Nov 24, 2014 1:35 pm

Last night was the first clear night in a month and I gave the mini-WASP array its head.
Here are 3 images taken over about 3 hours.

P Cygni with plenty of other bits.
VV Cephei plus a ton of other stuff.
And the Castor region with a lot of background galaxies.

Thank you 4xxxx - glad you enjoy it.
Now back to the boring rain and cloud AGAIN.
Wish I was living in the Gold Coast!

We have the opposite view, we would like some rain, can't remember the last time we had some, at 8 am today it was 30c. We've been getting up to 35c from the last month of spring, only 4 days to go for summer. Surf has been less than 1/2 metre for ages so no Snapper or D’bah for me. The water falls about 1 hour away are hardly running so not worth going to the national parks to shoot anything. I go to my local beach Burleigh Heads a couple of time a week but don’t take my camera out of the car.

If that's all I have to complain about, life must be good. :D

Cheers

For a Pom - what you are describing is pure Paradise. Except of course the surf could do with being a bit higher :D :D
