Cape Hatteras Fun

We returned from our holiday a couple of weeks ago and we're still suffering with the occasional post holiday blues. We were in Cape Hatteras for two weeks of kitesurfing, had a fantastic time, and I came back with some great memories in pictures, over 2000 of them!!!

Young Cameron making us all wish we'd started this sport at his age! We had the pleasure of spending some time kiting with his father, Dimitri Maramenides of Epic Kiteboarding, a true acrobat with a kite.

Good pics, as said previously, nice and sharp. Well captured. Looks nicer there than the Bristol Channel, where I tried taking similar pictures.

Many thanks, Arthur. You're right about the location, though I've since managed to get a few decent kiting photos in South Wales too, but nicer weather definitely helps.

Great shots! I like them all, overall they're great. The first one looks a bit overexposed, at least the background does. Was the kite casting some shadow? I say this because he does look properly exposed.

That first image does look a little odd doesn't it? The glare coming off the water was really bright but as my husband's kitesurf board is bright white it acted as a reflector and shined some of the bright lighting back at him - couldn't have planned it that way if we'd tried
