In july i'm heading to Waddington air show & need a recommendation as to what lense to invest in for it. I have a nikkon d3100 & already have a nikkor AF 50mm lense, I will be in the field next to the runway so I could do with a bit more of a zoom than my current lense offers. Any help would be much appreciated

The 70-300mm VR is a decent lens for the money. £399 in UK, or £330 from DR
