Warning: Trivial Photos!
As simple as it might seem - and my wife likes to call those shots "trivial", as in "seen a thousand times" - but I could not refuse from shooting, processing and posting these lovely black, red&gold flowers.

Thomas, i was thinking the exact same thing when i was out shooting the other day, i saw some tulips and i though (naah you shouldnt there are just to many pix out there) but i did, i got some pretty close photos to the ones you got

If you click on his pictures it will get you ti his flickr account. And then click on more properties and it will give you whole EXIF data.

Let's continue the tread. I was just thinking about making definite tread for garden flowers and then I saw this.

All were shot with the micro-Nikkor 105mm/f2.8 VR around f/11 and f/8.

Bouquets! I love these tulips..and you know what I really love? Tiger lilies, and star lilies..lets just make this a great thread..I am going to be able to go out this weekend...it is not tulip time here..but will see what I can come up with for our proverbial garden gate thread...I can not wait to see the blooms.
Thomas, I never get tired of the intricacies of these flowers..am so glad you got these shots...Alex where are yours...beautiful patterns, gorgeous color, and just the right reflected light. Perfect petals.

Had to smile here for a reason that might not be that obvious to members from other countries ...

Apart from that, I like picture 1 and 2 the best. The third one is "just" a plant-like palette of colors to me and could be anything, not necessarily a tulip.

You must be referring to the colors of the German flag, HTG
