By the pond this morning

Sitting by the pond with the camera this morning - this Dragonfly decided she would lay her eggs in the damp moss underneath the pond netting. Managed to capture the event.

That's actually quite interesting, I'd never seen a dragonfly lay eggs before, and also the colors in the dragonfly are beautiful. Nice one :)

Never seen the lay either.
Seen them chasing each other in the garden, colourful sight!
