Black / White long exposure in Caribbean

Postby thierrydehove » Fri Nov 01, 2013 9:19 pm

Bonjour,
I have been posting a lot my Caribbean photos in color, this time, let me share some B/W. Taken with my Lee ND 10 stops and the results are very interesting and show a different view of Caribbean: http://www.thierrydehove.com/2013/07/15 ... ite-photo/

have a super week end

Quite an interesting view indeed, my favorite shot was the last one. This sure doesn't feel like the typical tropical sensation of Caribbean photos. I would be interested in seeing these in color, though I believe the feeling comes primarily from the B&W, though obviously the long exposures play a role here too.

At what aperture did you shoot these at? Even with a 10-stop ND filter, 150s is quite a long exposure at daytime.

Good job :)
