Really nice set Nelepl, the colors on the first one look just amazing, but my favorite is the last one, amazing composition, colors look great and just the way the clouds look is perfect. Great job

EDIT: What lens did you use by the way? It seems there's no EXIF in Flickr.

Nice photo, it looks like the trees had the focus point leaving the foreground slightly out of focus. Perhaps a setting of f22 would get more in focus.

Honest comment as always 4xxxx and I thank you for that. It highlights my only problem with the RX100 - no viewfinder. The pic isn't perfect, for sure, but not bad on my screen and I loved the bright colours I saw at the time. The problem was probably more camera shake than anything though. With my eyes I have to hold the camera out in order to see anything at all on the screen. Here, the sun made it virtually impossible for me to see anything apart from a hazy outline of the horizon, trees included. I set the camera to centre focus and actually focused on poppies close to hand then recomposed. The aperture was set to the RX100 minimum of f11. What I probably should have done was to wind the ISO out. Another lesson!

As it is, I was across that way the next day too and, knowing that, I took the D600. It wasn't such a bright day but I was/am more comfortable with the viewfinder. Here is one of the resulting pics. I prefer this one myself but would be happy for C&C again. D600 and 24-85mm.

I like this one the most, as 4xxxx said, the other one left the foreground out of focus, something this one doesn't. The only thing I'd point out is that the RX100's bright and more "punchy" colors (probably from in-camera PP) are gone in the shot from the D600, though the lighting might play a part to it. Either way, if that's what you want, it's easily changed in PP.

Much better for me, the foreground and also the trees are in focus. I thought poppies were always wide open.

Depends on the situation. I start with ISO 1600 and 20 sec usually at 2.8 and see where I am at. Then again depends how strong are the lights and if they are moving fast. Those 3 shots were taken with full moon so i got decent illumination of landscape and blue sky. I tend to overexpose and then bring exposure down in post, its much better on the noise. So my settings could go from iso 400 30 sec to iso 3200 4 sec. If the lights are dancing you need short exposure otherwise you just get green sky with no detail. Most of the time I will shoot time lapse of usually 60 shots then change settings if lights changed or started dancing. I go high iso because i can and my settings are usually different than anything you will find in any tutorial. The best thing is to experiment. When you get perfect settings shoot time lapse with long exposure noise reduction off, this way you will not miss any cool forms and shapes, of course make sure that you have great composition first.
