Took a trip last week, and one of my favorite structures in San Juan, Puerto Rico is the ancient and imposing Spanish fortification of Castillo San Felipe Del Morro, which sits at the western end of the old city walls guarding over the harbor entrance. Quite an interesting set indeed! I like that last shot a lot, the wall leads in really nice into the garita (I think that's what it is from your brief description). Good job

I was only there for the day, so was a bit limited to how I could shoot the fort - I was stuck with early afternoon light. But I love old forts and castles, and in the U.S. there is very little anywhere that is truly old or ancient...so even with only the day, I loved getting out to San Juan and photographing this fortification!
