thanks leo. the voigtlanders are pretty nice and dirt cheap compared to the leica lenses i'm familiar with.

How do Voigts compare to Leica (I could save a lot of money if I decide to get a Voigt) because if I cant get a Leica, I will DEFFINATELY get a Voigt with an XPro1.

One of the things I hear is, if you can afford a Voigtlander just get a Leica cause its rubbish compared to a Leica.

Because the pic you posted up looks amazing and Im wondering if the colour fidelity and DR is the lens or the sensor - either way, WOW. Thanks for sharing.

that's a pretty big price jump to be comparing the two. just had a look around adorama, voigtlander lenses start around $400 USD, the 12mm is $800. zeiss lenses start around $850. leica lenses start at $1650. i certainly hope leica's lenses are much better than the voigtlanders for that price, but whether the difference in image quality is worth difference in price is something that only you can answer.

Fujifilm announced not only the new X mount wide-angle lens today but also a new handgrip for the X-Pro1 which will allow access to the battery and memory card slot without removing the grip and enhanced operability with a tripod. They also announced a similar grip for the X-E1/X-E2. You can read the press release here.
