Since the preview is up, I might be about the only person interested in it, might as well start this post.
I presume it is still in the same series as the HX9V, but hopefully much improved? The HX9V is still my most carried camera but I wouldn't mind updating it.
The annoyances I have with the HX9V are:
1, slow startup time. It feels like forever before you can take a shot with it. How quick is the HX90V in that respect?
2, GPS acquire speed - another area the HX9V is in no hurry about. I don't really care much about it, but if it is slow again, the HX90 (without V) might be more interesting.
3, strong noise reduction, resulting in a mush under lower light conditions. Kinda wished you can dial it down a bit in the hopes of trading off detail and noise.
The viewfinder may be handy if shooting on the longer end of the zoom. Will be interesting what image quality of the camera is like there. I'm not expecting DSLR quality, as long as it doesn't descend too much into noise reduced mush it may suffice. Tilt screen is a nice extra too.
