Barcelona photos

Postby Thefirewitch » Tue Sep 02, 2008 5:04 am

I'm a regular visitor to Barcelona (once every 6-8 weeks), last week was the first time I had used a DSLR camera Sony A200 after upgrading from compact.

I looked around this site, watched the videos, bought the Magic Lantern guide book and off I went....

I didn't have a clue what I was doing the first couple of days, aperture, shutter, AEL, ISO and so on... but I soon got the hang of it. My first lot of pics in the aquarium didn't turn out, most were blurred, shutter speed too slow. Then I figured if I put the camera on auto and look what it puts the settings as, that was a rough guide. After that I put it on M and set ISO to 400/800, turn the f to lowest number it would go, then adjust shutter until I got a good shot. That was for night photos.

The rest I just put the camera on either auto or Landscape. I haven't touched the photos on graphics, just cropped and shrunk.

Anyway here are my photos from last week, exif data has all the settings I used: ... arceAug08/

One of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Comments welcome.
