Sony Alpha unboxing videos - A complete collection

Postby Bjorn van Sinttruije » Mon Jun 14, 2010 11:17 am

Work In Progress

Given the popularity of unboxing videos, and the fact they're not always easy to find on YouTube, I thought I'd start a thread that collects the links and makes it easier for y'all to find the video you're looking for.
Please be aware that not all videos available on YT have been added to this thread already. If you find a Sony Alpha unboxing, please reply!

Blue links take you to videos I made. :)

Am I the only one who just rips open the packaging to play with the lens, instead of some cardboard pieces? 8)
I take pictures so quickly, my highschool was "Continuous High".

No, you're not. The way I do these videos is by first unboxing and playing with the lens, then boxing it again, set up a videocamera, and record the video. Never film the first time you unbox something, it spoils the fun.

Audio is muted at the moment, hope it'll come back...

EDIT: Audio doesn't seems to be coming back, so it's now also up on Vimeo here:

Thanks KSK. Sadly though, there won't be too many Sony unboxings from me though, at least not for a long time. The first unboxing should be of the D-Lux 5 I recently won (already filmed that, waiting to be edited) and then the next will probably be a Leica M9/10 + 50 Summilux unboxing...

Thanks westcoast, this upgrade is an immense improvement (especially in feel) over my previous outfit: a Canon 40d with 28-135 kit lens, 50 1.8, ef 75-300.

I absolutely love the ergonomics of sony gear and the image quality of these lenses is simply incredible. Very happy guy!
