2011 Corvette

Postby audioman » Tue Jan 01, 2013 4:49 am

Hi everyone. A friend here in Queenstown NZ recently imported this amazing 2011 Corvette. I asked him if I could take a few pics. Robbon44, you can probably guess the location. Taken with my Nikon D40 and 50mm 1.8D and 18-200mm.

Ah, yes, an "Arrest Me Red" Corvette, sooo very pretty! You did the car proud with your pictures. Great contrast between the red of the Corvette and the background. Were you up on a ladder above the car for some of those shots?

Yes, I took the kitchen step stool with me, which meant that dearest couldn't reach any shelves over 5'2" for the rest of the day.

You get a lot more out of that D40 than I did with the D40x, great set. 8)

Totally agree with you lagnificent, I think that the scenery actually edged it over the car in this case. I think the Kiwis do it to wind us Poms up
