And just to be clear one thing, Abit has launched very good motherboards in their time, remember NF7 for Socket A?
Excellent ;)

And about Foxconn, only because its one of the cheapest motherboard manufactures does not mean it's any lower quality than any others.
I myself am an Asus man, don't really know why I have stuck to this brand lately, but I think it has got to do with being familiar with these boards an BIOS. I have also had Abit, Sapphire (Yes they have made motherboards), MSI and lastly Asus.
The brand I have had most issues with is the one that I have owned most from, which is Asus. However these are only production faults, or bad luck for that matter. You get full refund so it does not really bother me.

Back to Foxconn, they produce for a lot of different companies, Apple, Sony, Intel, Nintendo and more.

Saying the pentium 2 was a great processor doesn't mean I'd buy one for postprocessing today....

And saying a company is bad because you own one faulty product from them is reasonable? You don't think this could happen with any other brand?

I also had many excellent enthusiast boards from Abit in the past, but it's been a while since I've tried them...

For my last build I used a Gigabyte board and case, but if you are using
M-atx allow for sound and graphics, I struggled with fitting my e-pci Asus
sound card not having room for a decent graphics card as well. :(
Nikon D7100, Nikon D80, D40 and various lenses.
