I guess the most obvious bit, with the gift of hindsight, is how bad neck straps are. They are annoying.
I picked the RS 4 because I didn`t want a bulky strap and wife is right handed and I am left handed.

Didn` research about other similar products, I justed wanted something that wasn`t a neck strap.

I use camerasdirect in Brisbane for a lot of purchases, I have used them for a while now and can recommend them. I also buy Gordon a coffee every now and then.

It appears that there isn`t that many decent options when I comes to purchasing stuff via the cameralabs website if located in Australia. You can support the forum via these links.

have found in the past that the prices on ebay aren`t all that competitive and I bought the 7D camera from a real shop, but happy to purchase other stuff on line.
Have not used digital rev, but I am sure they are fine.

Just recieved a Black Rapid RS-5 from Cameras Direct, thanks for the link. Easily the cheapest price by about $20 including delivery. Well pleased, and as far as the RS-5 goes, it is really good. I love the quick release clips front and back which stop the camera shifting position when walking about. Access to the storage pockets is handy, with a good strong magnet to keep two compartments closed, feels very sturdy, overall I am glad I went for this strap.

I must buy Gordon a coffee to, super chap...
