At Last The Surf Is Up

Postby 4xxxx » Wed Aug 27, 2014 3:37 am

After 3-4 weeks of the South Pacific looking like a lake, the surfers got their fix this week with a 2-3 metre surf. I was at Snapper Rocks before full light and there was 50 + already in, by the numbers there it looks like many had taken a sickie from work and school kids giving themselves a day off. Can't blame them with winter temps of 22-23 and the water at 20c.
