recommendations for a lense for an airshow

Postby emma3star » Fri Jan 25, 2013 9:16 pm

In july i'm heading to Waddington air show & need a recommendation as to what lense to invest in for it. I have a nikkon d3100 & already have a nikkor AF 50mm lense, I will be in the field next to the runway so I could do with a bit more of a zoom than my current lense offers. Any help would be much appreciated :D

The 70-300mm VR is a decent lens for the money. £399 in UK, or £330 from DR http://www.digitalrev.com/product/nikon ... MTIxOQ_A_A
Image btw,He who dies with the most toys, WINS!
Nikon D800E & D700 bodies + Nikon 200-400mm F4 VR1, 50mm F1.4G, 16-35mm f/4G VR, 105 F2.8 VR macro, 70-300mm lenses. A couple of filters, Giotto tripod & ballhead. Lowepro Slingshot 302 AW
