will my canon 2x extender fit Tamron 70-200 f2.8 vc lens?

Postby alggomas » Sat Nov 15, 2014 1:27 pm

I bought a Canon 2x extender thinking it would be like other extenders. However this will only fit some L Canon lenses.
E.g. 70-200 f2.8 L! This extender has a rubber tube which fits inside this lens.
Will it fit the Tamron 70-200 2.8f vc lens please?
Thanks.

It is very unlikely to fit. Tamron or Kenko extenders will probably work. This is not a certain reply, but, at least, refreshes your topic.
