The Med Coast: Calahonda, Spain

Postby Vertigo » Sat Oct 04, 2008 4:40 am

I finally got around to post-processing some photos from our vacation to Spain this past March!

We spent 2 of the days driving along the Mediterranean coast -- what breathtaking views! This image (made from 2 photos) was taken from an overlook on the coastal road just East of Calahonda, Spain. This is one of those times when I would have given anything for a 10mm lens!

...And yes, the water really was that color!

This was taken with my (then) Canon XTi/400D and EF-S 17-85mm IS USM, with a polarizer. Only post-processing was a brightness adjustment and a very slight change in saturation.

This image is stitched together from 2 images using Canon's Photostitch software, and then touched up a little in Photoshop to remove some poor blending. Canon's software isn't very good for this type of thing, but I rarely do these panoramas, so I can live with it...

Any C&C is welcome, as always!
