Trip to Tofino, B.C.

Postby EricD » Sat Aug 23, 2008 10:32 pm

Hello everyone,

within the next few days, I will be going on a holiday to Tofino, British Columbia. First off, there is alot of beaches, surfers, etc.. It will be beach/landscape photography.

I have been there before, but this time I would like to take my D50, and hopefully shoot alot of pictures... Any tips/tricks that would be useful? Or any techniques that I should try?

You lucky sod, LOL!!! All I can say is enjoy your time there, it is absolutely stunning. If your pictures turn out anything like the ones from your previous trips then they should be great.

Enjoy

Make sure you have sufficient memory or bring a laptop with you!

I finally got around to uploading the rest of the pictures in between packing up for college...

Anyways, second day we decided to rent some surf boards and go surfing. It was great fun :)

Maybe you should run them through a graphics program. They lack saturation and contrast. I looked through your Flickr and decided it must be a personal preference to take dark photos.

I'll keep that in mind. Is it that the pictures are lacking in color, or that they are underexposed?

I would guess that more exposure is what the photos need.
