Although I would have zoomed in a little because I find the mountain a little too tiny in the shot

Here's a shot of the same thing from the same place on a different day by a different person! A storm was heading in, this is probably cropped 50%, you really need a 300-400mm lens to get a decent shot from this distance, which is probably 5km away.

But i think the picture will end up very blur, because it is so small after cropping it.

na man, its about 50ks at less if u measure the distance from Taupo city center to Mt Ruapehu in the NZ map. it look close because the mountain is so high.[/b]
