Great set of balloon pics Mike - and your watermark worked fine. It is present on all of the airborne pics and on the two horsey ones.

As others have said, you've got some great shots there Mike, both ground and airborne.
I can sympathise with the getting up early only to find the weather has caused the liftoff to be canceled, been there, done that :roll: as I live near to where we have the annual Bristol Balloon Fiesta, and the weather here is unpredictable at best!

Really nice shots mike. What was your set up for the day? Did you just go with one lens or multiple?

I went with with my 550D and 40D double slung 8) . I had my Sigma 18-125, my Tamron 70-300, and my Canon 35 f/2. At night I had the 18-125 and 35 mounted and for the day it was the 18-125 and 70-300 until the 18-125 broke :x and then mounted the 35 again.

I've really enjoyed it but sometimes wish i had the 50 f/1.4. The evening pic of the horses were with the 35

Oh and for you Nikon fanboys, the one of the Nikon balloon didn't come out, this one barly did. My Canon must have revolted :lol:
