My first pics: Ireland

Postby Soliwo » Thu Feb 05, 2009 12:15 am

Some very old pictures made during a trip in Ireland. I was lucky. The summer of 2006 was particularly hot in Western Europe, even in Ireland. I have very little experience but hope to learn more with my new SX10 is which should arrive tomorrow or the day after. The photo's posted here are made with my powershot A520. I need to learn more as here in the Netherlands, good light and mountains are harder to come by than on the Atlantic coast. In Ireland and Scotland it seems everyone can make a decent shot. I have not join this forum to be applauded so please give me some tips, on composition, lighting, everything. But also ... please be gentle because I am completely ignorant. The pictures have not been digitally enhanced, because I am scared of photoshop. I am afraid I would only mess stuff up.

4. Glen Coe road. Yes, sorry, that's Scotland. But since last summer I am in love with Scotland. I would lover to have climbed a bit higher, but my parents were waiting at the bottom of the hill.
