This landscape is so beautiful that it would be hard to take a picture that does not give you some sense of that beauty...

Still, my framing of the picture is not very good, especially on the foreground.

For those who are interested, the frozen lake you see on the picture is the Lago di Lei, a man-made lake on the border of Italy and Switzerland.

Taken on Monday, with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX37.

Yes, indeed, a frozen lake :) You can read more about it here.

Here are two more pictures from that short ski trip.

The first one can probably use some postprocessing. The snow in this picture is quite blue now I think.

Yep.. very nice scenery. To correct composition in first shot, you could have cropped some portion at bottom.

In fact, I like this one better, even though it was taken with my crappy blackberry camera. Of course, it is taken from a different position and so the framing is better. However, the colors are good as well. The white is whiter...
