Guardian-Award Winning Me! :)

Postby stevesayskanpai » Tue Dec 02, 2008 1:07 am

Hi everyone! I won a Guardian photography competition for one of my travel photographs!! This means I get a canvas copy of my photograph worth 200 pounds. Hurrah!

The photograph should be up on the Guardian website tomorrow if you care to take a look

I've learnt a lot from this site, and I've never won a competition before so I thought I'd share my joy and thank all of you who have given me advice up until now.

Cheers!

Yeah its pretty cool- although to be honest if I could have chosen any photo to be put on canvas it wouldn't have been that one. I've got plenty of other shots I like more but hey, I can't complain!

Hello Steve, Firstly, i would like to say `congratulations` to you, you must be extremely proud of winning. Well Done!
Secondly have just looked at your flickr photos and im very impressed. I went to Japan 3 years ago now ,before i had a decent camera, it has been the best place i have ever visited, truly amazing, and it was great to see the photos. Maybe one day i shall be lucky enough to return, with my canon, sue :)
